Five Wits Cosplay Helper

When I'm wearing a short wig people don't believe that my hair is down to my waist. So here's the picture to prove it. This tutorial is how I make my hair fit under a wig cap without any awkward bulges.

Divide your hair into two parts. None of this has to be super neat, as it isn't going to show in the end.

Twist the piece from the right side of your head and cross it over the other piece. Start wrapping it up around the left side of your head.

Stick in bobby pins to keep it in place.

Here the left half of my head is pretty much done.

Then do exactly the same thing with the other section of hair, crossing it over to the right side of the head and pinning it.

Depending on how long your hair is, you may have to wrap it around the front of your head and back toward the back again.

Here is the fully pinned hair.  Again, note the lack of neatness.  It just needs to be tightly pinned as flat as possible to your head.

It works best for me to put the wig cap on in back first.

Pull the wig cap up over the front of your head. You can pull it down a bit over your face, it's okay. Just make sure to catch all your stray hair wisps in it.

Push the wig cap up on your forehead so that it sits where your natural hairline is. You don't want it to show under your wig.
