Five Wits Cosplay Helper
When I'm wearing a short wig people don't believe that my hair is down to my waist. So here's the picture to prove it. This tutorial is how I make my hair fit under a wig cap without any awkward bulges. |
Divide your hair into two parts. None of this has to be super neat, as it isn't going to show in the end. |
Twist the piece from the right side of your head and cross it over the other piece. Start wrapping it up around the left side of your head. |
Stick in bobby pins to keep it in place. |
Here the left half of my head is pretty much done. |
Then do exactly the same thing with the other section of hair, crossing it over to the right side of the head and pinning it. |
Depending on how long your hair is, you may have to wrap it around the front of your head and back toward the back again. |
Here is the fully pinned hair. Again, note the lack of neatness. It just needs to be tightly pinned as flat as possible to your head. |
It works best for me to put the wig cap on in back first. |
Pull the wig cap up over the front of your head. You can pull it down a bit over your face, it's okay. Just make sure to catch all your stray hair wisps in it. |
Push the wig cap up on your forehead so that it sits where your natural hairline is. You don't want it to show under your wig. |
